What is Security Plus?

Security Plus, commonly referred to as CompTIA Security+, is a globally recognized certification that validates foundational skills in IT security. It covers essential topics such as network security, threats and vulnerabilities, access control, cryptography, and risk management. Earning this certification demonstrates that you have the baseline skills necessary to perform core security functions and pursue an IT security career. It is often required or preferred for roles such as security analyst, systems administrator, and network administrator.
