What is an RSS technician?

RSS Technicians, also known as Remote Site Service Technicians, are professionals responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications or network equipment at remote or off-site locations. They ensure that communication systems, such as radio, satellite, wireless, or IT networks, are operating efficiently and troubleshoot any issues that arise. RSS Technicians may also be responsible for upgrading hardware and software, performing routine inspections, and responding to service outages to minimize downtime.
