What is a rink tech?

Rink Techs, or Rink Technicians, are responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of ice surfaces in ice rinks. Their duties include operating ice resurfacing machines (like Zambonis), monitoring ice thickness and temperature, handling minor repairs, and ensuring the facility is safe for skaters. Rink Techs may also assist with event setup and general facility cleaning. This role is essential for providing a smooth skating experience and maintaining proper rink conditions.
