Radiologic Technology Students are individuals enrolled in accredited educational programs to learn how to perform diagnostic imaging examinations, such as X-rays, under the supervision of licensed radiologic technologists and instructors. They receive classroom instruction and hands-on clinical training to develop the technical and patient care skills necessary for the profession. Upon completion of their program, students are eligible to sit for certification exams to become registered radiologic technologists. Their education covers anatomy, radiation safety, equipment operation, and patient positioning.
