What is Project Zero?

Project Zero is a team at Google dedicated to finding and reporting security vulnerabilities, or 'zero-day' exploits, in software used by people around the world. Their main goal is to make the internet a safer place by discovering and helping to fix critical security flaws before malicious hackers can exploit them. The team conducts independent research, works with software vendors to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed quickly, and publicly discloses their findings to promote transparency and industry-wide improvement in security.
