What is a prep case manager?

Prep Case Managers are professionals who support individuals interested in or currently taking Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) to prevent HIV infection. They help clients navigate the healthcare system, provide education about PrEP, assist with insurance and medication access, and offer ongoing support to ensure adherence to the medication. Their goal is to reduce barriers to PrEP and promote overall sexual health and wellness for at-risk populations.
