What is a power meterman?

Power Metermen are skilled technicians responsible for installing, testing, maintaining, and repairing electric meters that measure the consumption of electricity by homes and businesses. They ensure that meters are functioning correctly, accurately recording energy usage, and are often responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise with metering equipment. Power Metermen may also disconnect or reconnect service, inspect wiring for safety and code compliance, and provide customer service related to metering concerns.
