What is a nurse RPN?

Nurse RPNs, or Registered Practical Nurses, are regulated healthcare professionals who provide direct patient care in a variety of settings, such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, and community clinics. RPNs work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care. Their scope of practice includes administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, performing medical procedures, and educating patients and families. The role of an RPN often involves working with patients who have less complex health needs, under the guidance of registered nurses and physicians.
