What is a nephrology RN?

Nephrology RNs are registered nurses who specialize in caring for patients with kidney-related conditions, such as chronic kidney disease, kidney failure, and those undergoing dialysis. They monitor patients’ vital signs, administer medications, educate patients and families about kidney health, and collaborate with nephrologists and other healthcare professionals.
