What is a meals driver?

Meals Drivers are individuals responsible for delivering prepared meals to clients, often as part of community programs such as Meals on Wheels. They ensure timely and safe delivery of food to seniors, people with disabilities, or others who may have difficulty preparing meals themselves. In addition to delivery, Meals Drivers often provide a friendly check-in, helping to reduce isolation among recipients and report any concerns to program coordinators. The role may require a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift and carry meal packages.
