What is a maintenance boilermaker?

Maintenance Boilermakers are skilled tradespeople who install, assemble, maintain, and repair boilers, tanks, vats, and other large vessels that hold liquids and gases. They work in industries such as power generation, manufacturing, and oil and gas, ensuring that these critical pieces of equipment operate safely and efficiently. Their responsibilities often include inspecting boiler systems for faults, performing routine maintenance, replacing worn parts, and making emergency repairs. Maintenance Boilermakers must have a strong understanding of welding, pipefitting, and structural components, as well as follow strict safety protocols.
