What is an LPN Compact?

An LPN Compact refers to a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license that is valid in multiple states participating in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). This allows LPNs to practice in any of the compact states without needing to obtain additional licenses for each one. The compact is designed to increase mobility for nurses and address workforce shortages by simplifying the licensing process.
