What is an LPC Associate Counselor?

LPC Associate Counselors are individuals who have completed the required education and passed the licensing exam to become Licensed Professional Counselor Associates. They work under the supervision of a fully licensed LPC while gaining the experience needed for full licensure. LPC Associates provide counseling services to clients, often in mental health, school, or community settings. Their work is closely monitored by a supervisor to ensure ethical and effective practice. After completing the required supervised hours, they may apply for full LPC licensure.
