What is LOGCAP III?

LOGCAP III refers to the third iteration of the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP), which is a U.S. Army program designed to provide logistics and support services to military operations. Under LOGCAP III, private contractors supply essential services such as food, water, laundry, maintenance, and construction to troops deployed in conflict zones, especially in Iraq and Afghanistan. This program allows military personnel to focus on their primary missions while contractors handle many of the logistical and life-support functions. LOGCAP III was primarily managed by KBR (Kellogg Brown & Root) and operated from the early 2000s to around 2010.
