What is a Lead RBT?

Lead Registered Behavior Technicians (Lead RBTs) are experienced behavior technicians who provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy, typically to individuals with autism spectrum disorder. They not only deliver direct therapy but also take on additional responsibilities, such as mentoring new RBTs, assisting Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) with program implementation, and overseeing daily client care. Lead RBTs help ensure quality and consistency in therapy sessions and may assist with training, scheduling, and administrative tasks. Their leadership role is crucial for maintaining high standards of client service and supporting the clinical team.
