What is an ISC2 Associate?

An ISC2 Associate is a designation offered by the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) for individuals who have passed an ISC2 certification exam, such as the CISSP, but do not yet have the required professional experience. This status allows professionals to demonstrate their knowledge and commitment to cybersecurity while they gain the necessary work experience to become fully certified. ISC2 Associates have up to six years to fulfill the experience requirements, at which point they can be granted full certification status.
