What is an internship interventional radiology RN?

Internship Interventional Radiology RNs are registered nurses who are participating in a structured internship program to learn and gain experience in the specialty of interventional radiology. These nurses assist with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, patient care before, during, and after interventions, and collaborate closely with radiologists and other team members. The internship provides hands-on training to develop specialized skills in patient assessment, procedure preparation, and post-procedural care unique to interventional radiology.
