How to get a veterinary job?

Career: Veterinary

You can begin working in a veterinary office with as little as a high school diploma. Entry-level positions usually include receptionists and kennel assistants. If you want to provide animal care like routine exams, x-rays, or running lab tests, you will need a college degree. Assistants can find a job with hands-on clinical experience and training whereas vet techs need an associate degree, licensure, and documented hands-on experience to perform certain procedures. Both Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees are required to become a vet.
