How to get a job in farming?

Career: Farm

The qualifications needed to get a job in farming depend on the type of career you wish to pursue. Agricultural workers, such as pickers, combine operators, and ranch farmworkers do not typically need any qualifications beyond good physical stamina. However, a high school diploma or experience with crops may improve your opportunities. For more complex positions, such as land managers, breeders, or other mid-level positions, you may need a high school diploma and some post-secondary work. Every state in the US should have at least one land-grant college, where you can study agriculture, agronomy, and land management.
