How to become an RFID engineer?

To become an RFID engineer, you need a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Employers prefer candidates with prior radio frequency identification experience or a background in security and technology. You need to understand transponder to beacon in active RFID, passive low and high-frequency waves, battery-assisted passive systems, sensor networks, and antenna design. You also need experience with industry software and vendor relations. Additional qualifications include analytical problem-solving skills, troubleshooting skills, experience with drafting software, and knowledge of both analog and digital electronics.
