How to become an insurance instructor?

Many insurance instructors begin their career by gaining experience as an insurance agent. You can often train to become an insurance instructor with the company where you gained job experience. Alternatively, you can take a course through the International Association of Insurance Professionals (IAIP) to become an IAIP certified insurance instructor. The qualifications to become IAIP certified are the completion of their Train the Trainer course along with the specific course subjects you’d like to teach. You must pass a quiz on the particular subject before certification and when you’re due for renewal.
