Career: Associate Financial Planner

An associate financial planner is usually a junior member of a financial planning office. The qualifications that you need to start this career include a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field. A bachelor’s degree in another major may be acceptable if you have previous experience in financial services. You either need to be a certified financial planner or be willing to undergo training and eventually take the exam to become a CFP. Since you work with clients, communication and sales skills are also vital.
