How to become a wireline operator?

To become a wireline operator or engineer, you must have a high school diploma or GED certificate and some postsecondary education related to mechanical engineering and geology. Job training under a senior wireline operator is also useful for this career. Additional qualifications include attention to detail, ability to handle equipment and explosives, and mechanical skills.
