How to become a veterinary radiologist?

Career: Veterinary Radiologist

To become a veterinary radiologist, you must earn a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree. Once you have completed your schooling, acquire an internship and residency in animal radiology. You must pass the American College of Veterinary Radiologists (ACVR) exam to become a certified veterinary radiologist. Many veterinary radiologists seek a more specialized focus by working with a specific type of animal, such as small animals, large animals, or equine. Most careers are in private practices, although academic positions are sometimes available.
