How to become a vending route driver?

Career: Vending Route Driver

The primary qualifications for becoming a vending route driver are several years of driving experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Employers prefer applicants who have several years of experience in a customer service or equipment maintenance position. Unlike many delivery jobs, vending route drivers may not need a commercial driver's license (CDL), though it doesn't hurt to get one just in case. Fulfilling the responsibilities and duties of a vending route driver requires communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well with little or no supervision. You may need to learn how to use special equipment to repair and reset vending machines.
