How to become a snowboarding instructor?

The Professional Ski Instructors of America and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (PSIA-AASI) offers three levels of snowboarding instructor certification. You must demonstrate snowboarding ability to become a Level 1 snowboarding instructor, so you may want to take a course or complete an instructor training program at a ski resort. After spending time as a Level 1 instructor, you can proceed to the next certification. Level 3 requires a four-day course and passing an exam. Additional job qualifications include communication skills, lesson planning ability, and knowledge of different snow types.
