How to become a server assistant?

Career: Server Assistant

Most employers want server assistants to have a high school diploma or GED, but it is not always necessary as high school students are frequently employed in this role. Make sure that you are in good physical condition so you can work on your feet for long hours, running back and forth between the kitchen and the dining room floor. As a Server Assistant, various staff members will call on you to help with the finishing touches in food preparation and take food to the customers as quickly as possible. It’s essential to have strong customer service, multitasking, and teamwork skills. You do not need any previous work experience to become a Server Assistant but it will be beneficial if you have worked in the food industry before.
