How to become a scale operator?

The primary qualifications for getting a job as a scale operator are a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. Post-secondary education is usually not required. Scale operators may work indoors in a warehouse setting or work outdoors in various weather conditions. They are often scheduled on nights, weekends, or holidays as needed, so having a flexible schedule is essential to this position. Previous experience following checklists and enforcing regulations is useful for this role.
