How to become a SIGINT analyst?

Joining the Armed Forces and undergoing relevant training are the primary qualifications to become a SIGINT analyst. You must complete the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery tests, 10 weeks of basic combat training, and 24 weeks of advanced individual training. Prior skills in technology and software are helpful but not necessary. You must score a 112 in the skilled technical section of the ASVAB test. Your understanding of foreign languages and geographical locations are an asset to federal agencies, which you acquire during your training. You must be able to remain alert while performing repetitive tasks.
