How to become a remote pilot?

To pursue a career as a remote pilot, you must meet a handful of qualifications. First, you need to be at least 16 years old and able to speak, read, and write English. To fulfill your duties and responsibilities in this role, you also must earn a commercial drone pilot license from the FAA. To get your Part 107 license to pilot an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), register with ICARA and pass a multiple-choice exam. Next, purchase professional drone insurance in case of an accident. Finally, you must acquire a drone and any other equipment for the job you want to do, such as cameras or another unmanned aircraft system (UAS).
