How to become a reading tutor?

Depending on your employment type, a career as a reading tutor may require you have some formal qualifications and education. While self-employed teachers are not absolutely required to have a degree, tutors employed at schools and similar institutions must have at least a bachelor’s degree. Either way, you must have experience working with young people and a demonstrated ability to teach children reading skills. Additional qualifications include patience, an understanding of the language acquisition process, and the ability to construct and enable long-term learning strategies.
