To pursue a career as a quality control analyst, you need a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. You can find entry-level jobs in QC, and once you gain some work experience, you’re then eligible to earn professional certifications from the QAI Global Institute. You can obtain credentials like the Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA), the Certified Associate in Software Quality (CASQ), or the Certified Manager of Software Quality (CMSQ). You must complete around 30 hours of continuing education each year to maintain your professional certifications.
