How to become a production assistant?

Career: Production Assistant

The qualifications you need to become a production assistant are flexible. Having solid knowledge about media production, film and television sets, and cast and crew dynamics is helpful but not absolutely necessary, as you can learn this gradually on-the-job. Having past work experience on film and television sets is also beneficial. Some employers prefer PAs to have an associate or bachelor’s degree in film production, media technology, or a related field. You need excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills to perform well in a production assistant role.
