Becoming a produce manager does not require you have formal qualifications or advanced education; typical requirements entail some years of grocery store experience coupled with a high school diploma or GED certificate. While a bachelor’s degree in business can help you with your duties, your experience and skills count for more than an education. You also must pass a cashier test, be able to lift fifty pounds, and have previous experience in a grocery environment.
