How to become a power distributor?

Career: Power Distributor

There are no formal education requirements to become a power distributor, though holding an associate or bachelor’s degree may make you a more valuable candidate in the job market and eligible for upper-level positions. Many employers prefer candidates with several years of experience working in an electrical plant and who have passed the Power Plant Maintenance (MASS) and Plant Operator (POSS) exams. These tests measure understanding of math and mechanical concepts and reading comprehension skills. You may also need to pass a background check and drug and alcohol screening before being hired.
