How to become a pest control operator?

Career: Pest Control Operator

To become a pest control operator, you must obtain a license from the pest control board branch in your state. Take courses and pass an exam to earn your license. Becoming licensed means that you can seek work as a structural pest control worker, inspect properties for pest damage, and identify and treat pest problems. You also need a high school diploma or GED certificate to meet the qualifications for most certificate programs and pest control career paths. Experience in pest control work, customer service, and janitorial service may also prove helpful.
