How to become a motion graphics designer?

There are no formal education requirements to become a motion graphics designer. Many have a bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field, while others choose to learn on their own through online boot camps and certifications. Some employers consider candidates with a substantial and impressive portfolio but do not have a degree. You must be familiar with the various uses of digital media and proficient in Adobe products (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Animate). Additional qualifications include creativity, strong communication and collaborative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
