How to become a land manager?

Career: Land Manager

Though some jobs require a master’s degree in ecology, land management, or a related field, many land manager jobs only require a bachelor’s degree, assuming you have the appropriate experience. You should study the complexities of land management, including ecology, environmental science, conservation laws, and development strategies. Gain many skills on the job, or in lower level positions. Some land manager fields, such as forestry, may require state licenses. If that is the case for your state, you must complete continuing education courses and pass an examination.
