How to become a grain merchandiser?

Many grain merchandisers have a bachelor’s degree in agriculture science, finance, or a related field, in addition to experience working somewhere like a grain elevator, processor, or feeder. Some grain merchandiser jobs may only require on the job experience. Through these programs or training, you learn the basics of agriculture and commodity merchandising, which are skills you need to be successful in this career. Optional certifications are available, such as those offered by the White Commercial Corporation.
