How to become a geospatial analyst?

The qualifications you need for a career as a geospatial analyst include a bachelor’s degree in geography, computer science, environmental science, urban planning, geographic information systems (GIS), or a related field. Some employers require you to have between one and five years of experience working in the GIS field. Determine what kind of organization you wish to work for and study the methods and uses needed in those fields.
