How to become a game writer?

To become a game writer, you need to have several qualifications, including storytelling skills and the ability to write and edit content into a coherent narrative. There are not always formal qualifications to become a game writer, but many have a bachelor’s degree in a writing-intensive subject, such as theater, creative writing, or literature. Some may even have a master’s in fine arts in screenwriting or fiction writing. If you do not have an MFA, it is a good idea to start to develop a portfolio of your ideas to present to prospective employers. Previous experience in comics, film, or television is also useful.
