How to become a food runner?

The minimum qualifications to become a Food Runner include having a high school diploma or GED and related work experience. Some employers will hire individuals without prior work experience and those still in high school. Primary job duties and responsibilities for a Food Runner career include bringing food and beverages to customers’ tables, checking food orders to ensure all is correct before they are delivered to the table, and assisting busy bartenders and servers. Skills required include interpersonal, attention to detail, physical endurance, organizational, food safety knowledge, and effective communication. Food Runners also need to be able to work well under stress.
