How to become a flight instructor?

A Flight Instructor must be at least 18 years of age, pass a medical exam, and hold a valid commercial airline certificate. To become certified, you must also pass the FAA Knowledge and Practical test, which includes a written exam and a test flight. Many Flight Instructor positions also require continuing education, training, and hundreds of hours of flight time. All Flight Instructors must have a lot of patience, attention to detail, and a passion for flying.
