How to become a farm laborer?

Career: Farm Laborer

There are very few qualifications for most farm laborer positions. On-the-job training and experience build the skills you need for the job. Vocational schools offer courses that revolve around farming methods, with some high schools in rural areas providing classes that cover everything from carpentry to equipment repair. Classes also exist at some colleges, covering topics that range from animal science to farm technology and economics. A degree is helpful, but not necessary to acquire a job. You typically do not need a high school diploma or GED certificate to become an agricultural worker. However, some jobs that deal with machinery may have specific qualifications.
