How to become a contract RN?

Career: RN Contract

To become a contract RN, you must first complete nursing school and become a licensed registered nurse. Qualifications vary by state so make sure to check requirements where you live. You also must be certified in BSL or CPR and first aid. You must be familiar with patient treatment, clinical procedures, and medical terminology. Additional qualifications include compassion, physical strength, and stamina for extended work days, and excellent communication skills. Contract RNs make excellent traveling nurses, so having a passport and appropriate visas, and speaking another language are beneficial if you go this route.
