How to become a concrete inspector?

Career: Concrete Inspector

Construction sites require inspections before projects can begin. Before pouring concrete, a concrete inspector tests, approves, and certifies mixed concrete and concrete installation. There are no educational requirements to become a concrete inspector, though an associate degree in construction technology or civil engineering technology may make you a more valuable candidate in the job market. Many employers require certification from organizations such as the American Concrete Association (ACI) and the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI).
