How to become a commodity trader?

To become a commodity trader, you need at minimum a bachelor's degree in business, economics, or finance. A master’s and even doctoral degree makes you a more competitive candidate. Additional qualifications include registration and licensing with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) as well as work experience at an investment firm. Commodity traders exhibit a wide range of skills including strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities. You work closely with clients and other commodity brokers to effectively grow an investment portfolio.
