How to become a candy packer?

Career: Candy Packer

There are no post-secondary education requirements to become a candy packer. Most candy production factories require a high school diploma or GED certificate and some testing for contagious illnesses, such as tuberculosis, before beginning employment. You also need to be able to lift at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. These positions usually offer on-the-job training, allowing you to learn your job duties under the direction of an experienced candy packer before working on a shift by yourself. Having previous work experience in a similar production line or factory work can set you apart from other candidates.
