How to become a CISSP?

Career: CISSP

The primary qualifications for becoming a Certified Information Systems Professional (CISSP) include five years of paid experience in two of the eight domains of knowledge and passing an exam administered by (ISC)², the company that manages this certification. If you don't have enough experience, the company also has an associate position that allows you to take the exam while continuing to gain experience. After these two steps, you must complete an endorsement process that checks to ensure your professional history is real and that you remain in good standing with the overall cybersecurity industry. Fulfilling the duties and responsibilities of a CISSP job requires agreeing to and following the (ISC)² Code of Ethics.
