How to become a CEO?

There really is no set path or exact way to become a CEO, but few make it to the top of the corporate ladder without some type of formal education. Many well-known CEOs have dropped out of college, but this is still rare. Typically, CEOs hold a business degree, often in management, economics, or finance. Usually, CEOs ascend to the top from a combination of perseverance and hard work. Many CEOs began as entrepreneurs, who grew into the role in order to make their own ventures successful.
